Shift Interlock: Description and Operation

This system is so designed that select lever cannot be shifted from "P" range position unless the ignition switch is turned to "ON" and brake pedal is depressed. Also, ignition key cannot be pulled out of key hole unless selector lever is in "P". These mechanism are as follows.
