DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area
DTC Confirmation Procedure
NOTE:
Prepare all registered remote controllers before performing DTC confirmation procedure.
1) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
2) Confirm that "Remote Controller Battery Warning" setting is "Active" mode. Scan Tool Data
3) Place remote controller within the keyless engine start operation area and open and close door more than 2 times.
4) Repeat Step 3) 6 times.
5) Perform Step 3) and 4) with all of registered remote controllers.
DTC Troubleshooting
1. Remote controller check
Prepare all registered remote controllers.
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON" with remote controller carried with oneself.
Check whether "KEY FOB LOW BATTERY" is shown in information display.
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
Perform Step 2) through 4) for all remote controllers.
Is "KEY FOB LOW BATTERY" shown in information display?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
End. (Remote controller battery run down signal was detected in the past. (DTC is not cleared))
2. Remote controller battery check
Replace battery of corresponding remote controller with new one. Service and Repair
Clear DTC. DTC Clearance
Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure
and then recheck DTC.
Is DTC B1134 still detected?
YES
Replace remote controller and recheck DTC.
NO
End.
