DTC Troubleshooting

NOTE:

An inability to register the immobilizer normally may be caused by remote controller malfunctioning.


1. Remote controller registration
Perform "Immobilizer Key Registration".
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
Recheck DTC.
Is DTC B1173 still detected?
YES
Replace keyless start control module and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO
End. (Remote controller was not registered)
