DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

DTC Troubleshooting
1. Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check.
2. DTC check
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Connect scan tool to DLC.
Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check DTC.
Is DTC B1317 indicated?
YES
Go to B1317 DTC B1317.
NO
Go to Step 3.
3. OCM power supply and ground circuits check
Check OCM power supply and ground circuits. Testing and Inspection
Is it in good condition?
YES
Go to Step 4.
NO
Repair OCM power supply or ground circuit.
4. OCM circuit check
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "L05" and "L08" connectors.
Check for proper connection at "L05-15" terminal.
Check for proper connection at "L08-1" terminal.
Measure resistance between "L05-15" terminal and ground.
Special Tool
(A): 09932-76010
Is measured resistance infinite?
YES
Go to Step 5.
NO
Repair short to ground in defective circuit.
5. DTC check
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Connect scan tool to DLC.
Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check DTC.
Is DTC B1318 still indicated?
YES
Replace seat cushion built in OCM with sensor mat. Components
If DTC still exists, substitute a known-good SDM and recheck DTC. SDM Removal and Installation
NO
Intermittent trouble. Check intermittent trouble. Intermittent Connection and Poor Contact Inspection
NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance
, if any DTC is detected.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check
to confirm that the trouble has been solved.
