DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

DTC Troubleshooting
1. Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check.
2. Seat belt buckle sensor circuit check
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "L175" or "L176" connector.
Disconnect "L04" connector.
Check for proper connection to "L04-22" terminal (for DTC B1383) or "L04-20" terminal (for DTC B1386).
Check for proper connection to "L175" or "L176" connector.
Check the following points.
Resistance between "A1" circuit and ground (DTC B1383): infinity
Resistance between "A3" circuit and ground (DTC B1386): infinity
Special Tool
(A): 09932-76010
Are they in good condition?
YES
Go to Step 3.
NO
Repair short to ground in defective wire.
3. Seat belt buckle sensor circuit check
Check the following points.
Resistance between "L176-1" and "L176-2" terminals (DTC B1383): infinity
Resistance between "L175-1" and "L175-2" terminals (DTC B1386): infinity
Special Tool
(A): 09932-76010
Are they in good condition?
YES
Replace defective seat belt buckle sensor, and recheck DTC. Removal and Installation
If this DTC is still detected, replace SDM. SDM Removal and Installation
NO
Repair short to ground in defective wire.
NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance
, if any DTC is detected.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check
to confirm that the trouble has been solved.
