DTC B1411 / B1412 / B1413 / B1414

NOTE:

Each tire pressure sensor is numbered and that number is assigned in the order as its ID code is registered in keyless start control module. It does not indicate tire position (front-left, front-right, rear-left and rear-right). Check what number of tire pressure sensor is assigned to which tire, referring to How to Identify Tire Pressure Sensor Number How to Identify Tire Pressure Sensor Number.

DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area






DTC Troubleshooting


1. DTC check
Clear DTC. DTC Clearance
Adjust each tire pressure to 260 kPa.
Drive vehicle at more than 35 km/h (22 mph) for 10 minutes.
Check DTC. DTC Check
Is DTC B1411, B1412, B1413 or B1414 still detected?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Check for air leakage.
2. Tire pressure sensor check
Check to determine which tire the DTC detected tire pressure sensor belongs to, referring to How to Identify Tire Pressure Sensor Number How to Identify Tire Pressure Sensor Number.
Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC.
Select "Data List" under "keyless start control module" mode of SUZUKI scan tool.
Check the "Air Pressure" value indicated in "Data List" on SUZUKI scan tool.
Is air pressure of tire pressure sensor identified by Step 1) between 232.5 and 287.5 kPa?
YES
Replace keyless start control module and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO
Replace tire pressure sensor. Tire and/or Tire Pressure Sensor (If Equipped) Mounting and Dismounting
