DTC Troubleshooting


1. Was "ESP (R) System Check" performed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to ESP System Check ESP (R) System Check.
2. Brake system check
Check the following points.
Leakage of brake fluid or air in the hydraulic brake system.
Clearance between brake pad and disc too high.
Are they in good condition?
YES
Substitute a known-good ESP (R) control module and recheck DTC. ESP Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Removal and Installation
NO
Repair, replace or adjust brake system.
