DTC Troubleshooting


1. Was ESP System Check ESP (R) System Check
performed?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Go to ESP System Check ESP (R) System Check.
2. DTC check
Perform DTC Check DTC Check.
Is there DTC(s) other than C1093?
YES
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
NO
Go to Step 3.
3. DTC check for 4WD system
Check DTC for 4WD control module.
Is any DTC(s) detected?
YES
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
NO
Substitute a known-good 4WD control module and recheck DTC.
Substitute a known-good ESP (R) control module if DTC C1093 is still detected. ESP Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Removal and Installation
