Hood Removal and Installation

Removal

1) Disconnect washer hose (1).
2) Remove 4 hood hinge bolts (2) to detach hood (3).
3) Remove hood hinge, after removing front fender if necessary. Front Fender Removal and Installation

Installation

Hood Inspection and Adjustment

Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.

- Apply sealant to contact face "A" of hood hinge.

"A" Sealant: 99000-31110 (SUZUKI Bond No.1215)

- Adjust hood lock position if necessary. Hood Inspection and Adjustment
- Tighten hood hinge bolts to specified torque.

Tightening torque
Hood hinge bolt (a): 10 Nm (1.0 kgf-m, 7.5 lbf-ft)
