Refer to "Circuit Description" under EBD Warning Light (Brake Warning Light) Comes ON Steady EBD Warning Light (Brake Warning Light) Comes ON Steady.

Troubleshooting

1. Warning light check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".

Does not "ABS" warning light come ON steady?
YES -
Perform "ABS Warning Light Come ON Steady.
NO -
Go to Step 2.

2. Scan tool parameter check

Select "Indicator" function in "Active test".

Dose EBD warning light come ON?
YES -
Substitute a known-good ESP(R) control module and recheck DTC. ESP Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Removal and Installation
NO -
Substitute a known-good combination meter and recheck DTC.
