DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check.

2. Air bag warning light check

Check if air bag warning light lights when turning on all indicators of combination meter by conducting Scan Tool Active Test Scan Tool Active Test.

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Perform Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview CAN Communication Check
as CAN communication circuit is defective. Troubleshooting for Lost Communication
NO -
Diagnose combination meter. Combination Meter Diagnosis

NOTE:

Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.

- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check
to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
