- Check boots for breakage, leaks, tear or deterioration.
- Check boot bands for looseness, cracking or damage.
- Check drive shafts for cracking or damage.
- Check wheel side joint for smooth rotation and no rattling.
- Check differential side (or drive intermediate shaft side) joint for smooth rotation.
