Condenser:
CONDENSER
REMOVAL
1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
SST 07110-58060 (07117-58080, 07117-58090, 07117-78050, 07117-88060, 07117-88070, 07117-88080)
2. REMOVE BATTERY
3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE
4. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE PIPE A
a. Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe from the condenser assembly.
b. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe.
NOTE: Seal the opening of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.
5. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A
a. Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A from the condenser assembly.
b. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid A pipe.
NOTE: Seal the opening of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.
6. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
a. Release the 2 bolts and 2 radiator upper supports.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and slide the upper part of the radiator rearward to remove the cooler condenser assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
a. Insert the bush on the lower side of the cooler condenser assembly into the cross member.
b. Install the cooler condenser assembly and 2 bolts.
Torque: 9.8 N.m(100 kgf.cm, 87 in.lbf)
c. Install the radiator upper support and 2 bolts to the upper part of the radiator.
HINT: If the condenser is replaced with a new one, add compressor oil to the new condenser.
Capacity: 40cc (1.4 fl.oz.)
Compressor oil: ND-8 or equivalent
2. INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A
a. Remove the attached vinyl tape from the pipe and connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.
b. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to the O-ring and pipe joint.
Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
c. Install a new O-ring to the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.
d. Connect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A to the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 N.m(55 kgf.cm, 47 in.lbf)
3. INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE PIPE A
a. Remove the attached vinyl tape from the tube and connecting part of the condenser assembly.
b. Sufficiently apply condenser oil to the O-ring and tube joint.
Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
c. Install a new O-ring to the cooler refrigerant discharge tube.
d. Connect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A to the condenser assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 N.m(55 kgf.cm, 47 in.lbf)
4. CHARGE REFRIGERANT
SST 07110-58060 (07117-58060, 07117-58070, 07117-58080, 07117-58090, 07117-78050, 07117-88060, 07117-88070, 07117-88080)
Specified amount: 650 ± 50 g (22.93 ± 1.76 oz.)
5. WARM UP ENGINE
6. INSPECT REFRIGERANT LEAK
