INTRODUCTION:

Some 2004 - 2007 model year Highlander or 2006 - 2007 model year Highlander HV vehicles may exhibit a condition where the headlight lens cover and/or headlight bulb is discoloured. Updated headlight assemblies have been developed to address this condition. The updated headlight assemblies have cosmetic changes, so it is recommended to replace both the left and right assemblies together.

NOTE
For consistent appearance of the headlights, it is recommended to replace BOTH LH and RH assemblies at the same time.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

CAUTION
Wait at LEAST 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretension activation.

Remove the left and right headlight assemblies and bulbs and replace with NEW headlight assemblies and bulbs.
