TERCEL MUDGUARD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

A mudguard kit is now available for installation on Tercels. Be sure to thoroughly clean all attachment areas and carefully follow the installation procedures below.





INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

Front of Vehicle


1. Remove screws "l" and "2" securing the front fender protector to the fender well and screw "A" located at the bottom of the fender well (see Figure 1).





2. Re-use screws " 1 ", "2" and "A" to install the mudguard (see Figure 2).


Note:
Press the mudguard firmly against the vehicle body to ensure proper fit.





Rear of Vehicle


1. Remove the rear wheel and tire to obtain sufficient working space. Install clip at point "B" (bottom of rear bumper) as indicated in Figure 3.





2. Using a screw (supplied in kit), install mudguard at point "B" (see Figure 4).





3. While pressing the mudguard firmly against the vehicle body, use the mudguard as a template to drill holes at points "3" and "4" (see Figure 5).

Note: 7/32 in. drill bit is required.





4. Install spring nuts (supplied in kit) at points "3" and "4" on the edge of the rear bumper (see Figure 6).





5. Using two screws (supplied in kit), install the mudguard at points "3" and "4" (see Figure 7).


Note:
Press the mudguard firmly against the vehicle body to ensure proper fit.


Reinstall the rear wheel and tire.
