M/T - Clutch Improvement For Reduced Chatter

Clutch Assembly:

To reduce clutch chatter, the thickness of the strap and the clutch cover spring load have been increased as follows:

Previous New

Strap Thickness: 0.6 mm (0.024 in.) - 0.8 mm (0.031 in.)
Clutch Cover Spring Load: 350 kg (771.6 lb.) - 375 kg (826.7 lb.)

Clutch Pedal Height:

Due to these changes, the bolt for the release fork/release lever setting has been strengthened. Consequently, the clutch pedal height has been decreased from 184 - 194 mm (7.24 - 7.64 in.) to 177 - 187 mm (6.97 - 7.36 in.). When installing the new clutch cover assembly, readjust the pedal height to the new specification of 177 - 187 mm (6.97 - 7.36 in..).
