Coupe (Right Side : Rear)

1. Remove (1) lower quarter panel rubber plug and replace it with the new rubber plug provided in kit.

2. Clean surface where the mudguard will be installed (use a cleaner such as Toyota Bug & Tar Remover P/N 00289-1BT01 and a lint free rag - making sure surface is clean and dry).

3. Locate the mudguard into position and mark the (2) upper mounting locations using the mudguard as a guide.

4. Center punch and drill a 1/8 inch diameter hole at these
(2) locations (Figure 6).


5. Carefully clean remaining drill chips from the drill holes and apply anticorrosion material (Tectyl(R) 506G or 3M(R) Rust Fighter I P/N 08892) to the drill holes.

6. Remove the protective backing from the butyl strip on the mudguard.

7. Place the mudguard into position; attach and secure it with (2) 10 mm screws provided in kit.

8. Drill a 1/8 inch diameter hole into the lower rubber plug using the lower mudguard mounting tab as a guide (Figure 4). Use caution not to damage the mudguard.

9. Attach and secure lower mudguard tab with (1) 10 mm screw provided in kit.
