Subject: Date-of-First-Use Update Form
Please be advised that effective February 26, 1990, TMS Warranty will require the use of the revised Date-of-First-Use Update Form shown on page 12-5 of the 1990 Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual when submitting changes for vehicle dates of first use. Use of the revised form will expedite processing of the date of first use to the master vehicle file at headquarters. Any DFU updates submitted on previous versions of this form after February 26 will be returned to the dealer without being processed.
Procedures for completing the form are listed on page 12-4 of the 1990 Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual.
Date-of-First-Use updates may be submitted by mail using a document submission envelope (M/N 00404-01446) or directly to TMS Warranty via fax. The Warranty Department's fax number is 1-213-618-7826.
