Warranty - Labor Time Review Request Procedure

SUBJECT: PROCEDURE TO REQUEST LABOR TIME REVIEW

In response to questions, Toyota would like to remind dealers of the procedures to request review of labor time for given operations listed in the Toyota Flat Rate Manual if the designated time is considered insufficient under normal conditions.

For any repair procedure that a dealer feels requires additional time to that listed in the Flat Rate Manual for normal repairs, the attached "Request for Labor Time Review" form should be completed and submitted to TMS Warranty. This form is found on page 14-32 of the 1990 Policy and Procedures Manual. NOTE: This applies to normal repairs only. For any repair procedure which requires additional time due to special needs or conditions a combination code should be used.

Upon receipt of the completed request form, Toyota will:

^ Acknowledge receipt of the form.

^ Review the request and advise the originator of the final decision.

^ Distribute the approved revision as an update to the Flat Rate Manual.
