Check the pads for excessive wear and the discs for runout. Check the calipers for leaking fluid.

Check the suspension and steering ball joints for looseness and damage. Check all dust covers for deterioration or damage.
Steering
Check for excessive play in the steering wheel. Inspect the linkages for damage or bending. Check the dust boots (where applicable) for deterioration, cracks or damage. Inspect the steering gearbox or rack-and-pinion assemblies for signs of leakage.
Fuel Tank
Inspect tank band for corrosion or damage. Check for leaks and repair if necessary.
Fuel Supply Line
Inspect for corrosion, damage and cracks. Check for loose or leaking connections and retighten as needed.
Fuel Filler Cap
Check gasket for cracking or wear. Inspect filler neck for damage. Check for proper sealing.
Fluid - M/T
Fluid - Differential
Check fluid level and condition.
Fluid - A/T
Check fluid level and condition.
Exhaust System
Inspect exhaust pipes, muffler and hangers for cracks, deterioration or damage. Start the engine and listen for exhaust gas leakage. Tighten connections or replace parts as necessary.
Constant Velocity Joint Boot
Check the drive shaft boots and clamps for cracks, deterioration or damage. Repack the grease where necessary. Retorque the flange bolts.
Replace
Spark Plug
Replace with new spark plugs of the same type as originally equipped. Set gap according to specification.
Oil Filter, Engine
Replace every 6 months or 7500 miles.
Engine Oil
Replace every 6 months or 7500 miles.
Coolant
Replace coolant. Check for leaks and proper thermostat action.
Air Filter Element
Extremely dusty conditions may require more frequent servicing of this component.
Clean/Repack
Wheel Bearing
Repack the rear wheel bearings with lithium-based wheel bearing grease, NLGI No. 2.
Rotate
Tires
Check inflation pressures. Inspect for debris, damage or uneven wear.
