Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR NO.1 REPLACEMENT

To replace vehicle speed sensor no.1 the instument cluster must be removed SEE:Instrument Cluster/CarrierInstrument Cluster / Carrier


Vehicle Speed Sensor NO.2

Vehicle Speed Sensor NO.2:

1. Remove NO>2 vehicle speed sensor
(a) Disconnect the NO.2 vehicle speed sensor connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and locki8ng plate.
(c) Pull out the NO.2 vehicle speed sensor.
(d) Remove the 2 bolts and plate.
(e) Pull out the rotor.

2. Install the NO.2 vehicle speed sensor
(a) Install the rotor.
(b) Install the plate and rotor.

Torque: 5.4 Nm(55 kgf cm, 48 in lbf)

(c) Install the NO.2 vehicle speed sensor.
(d) Install the locking plate and bolt.

Torque: 5.4 Nm(55 kgf cm, 48 in lbf)

(e) Install the NO.2 vehicle speed sensor connector.
