The following Service Bulletin provides service information that applies to the removal of the ABS speed sensor prior to removal of the rear axle and rear suspension.

Failure to remove the ABS speed sensor prior to removal of the rear axle or suspension may cause the ABS warning light to illuminate do to damage to the ABS speed sensor wire harness.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
1997-2000 model year Camry and Avalon
1999-2000 model year Solara





REPAIR PROCEDURE:

NOTICE:
Please be sure to remove the rear ABS speed sensor from the rear axle after removing the 3 bolts before the removal/replacement of the rear axle, rear coil spring and rear shock absorber.

Also, check for the speed sensor signal after installation.
