INTRODUCTION

On some 1999 Solara vehicles, customers may feel a slight fore and aft rocking motion in the driver's side power seat upon acceleration and deceleration. The power seat adjuster has been changed to address this condition.

1999 Solara with driver's side power seat.

PARTS INFORMATION





REPAIR PROCEDURE:

Remove old adjuster assembly and install a new driver's side power seat adjuster assembly.





WARRANTY INFORMATION

APPLICABLE WARRANTY*:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
