Introduction
The door mirror glass is now an available separate part. Detailed replacement instructions have been added to the 2001 MY Avalon Repair Manual. Please replace only the door mirror glass (not the entire outer mirror assembly) in the event there is a problem with the glass or case.

Install door mirror glass according to the 2001 Avalon Repair Manual, pages BO-25 through BO-28.
Warranty Information
Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
