Introduction
To help reduce the possibility of a rattle from the center rail garnish of the convertible top on the 2000 model year Solara Convertible, felt has been added to eliminate contact between the garnish and the rail.

Repair Procedure
Add a piece of felt measuring 30 mm x 30 mm x 1 mm to the right-hand and left-hand center rail garnish as shown in the diagram.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
