INTRODUCTION:

Under certain conditions, some 2001 model year Camry and Solara vehicles with the 1MZ--FE engine may exhibit a false M.I.L. "ON" with DTC P0446 (Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Malfunction). The Engine Control Module/ECM (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) logic has been modified to correct this condition.

- 2001 model year 1MZ--FE Camry and Solara vehicles.
