Introduction

Some customers may experience wind noise at the front door. The glass run and window regulators were modified to address this concern. Replace the glass run and window regulator with new service parts, as indicated in this bulletin.

Applicable Warranty:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure

Replace front door glass run and window regulator. To find the front door glass run, window regulator replacement and resetting of the power window, use the Technical Information System (TIS) 2002 or 2003 Camry Repair Manual: Engine Hood/Door, Front door.

To find power window function checks, refer to TIS 2002 or 2003 Camry Repair Manual: Windshield/Window Glass/Mirror, Power Window.





NOTE:
Ensure that the window regulator is attached to the door at the recommended screw torque shown.
