Introduction





A field fix is available for incidents of 2002 model year Camry (TMMK) trunk liners coming loose from the rear seat brace, just above the rear seat access hole.

Applicable Vehicles
^ 2002 model year Camry (TMMK) vehicles.

Warranty Information

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure





1. Drill 1/4" diameter holes through the trunk liner and the body metal at the three (3) locations shown in the illustration. Line up the hole position with the ribs indicated and measure down from the panel edge.

2. Apply a rust preventative material to the holes in the body metal, such as primer or touch-up paint. Remove drill shavings with a vacuum.

3. Position the holes made in the trunk liner with the holes made in the body metal. Insert the three clips to hold the liner in position.
