Heater Core: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT FROM RADIATOR
HINT: It is not necessary to drain out all the coolant.
2. DISCONNECT WATER HOSES FROM A/C UNIT
3. REMOVE NO.1 LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL
4. REMOVE LH INSTRUMENT LOWER PANEL
5. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR
a. Release the 3 claws and pull out the heater protector.
b. Remove the 3 screws 3 plate.
c. Remove the 2 screws and 2 clamps and disconnect the 2 heater radiator pipes.
d. Remove the heater radiator.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL HEATER RADIATOR
a. Install the heater radiator to A/C unit.
b. Install 2 new O-rings to heater radiator pipes.
c. Connect the heater radiator pipes to heater radiator.
d. Install the 2 clamps with the 2 screws.
e. Install the 3 plate with the 3 screws.
f. Install the heater protector.
2. INSTALL LH INSTRUMENT LOWER PANEL
3. INSTALL NO.1 LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL
4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM LH
5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
6. CONNECT WATER HOSES TO A/C UNIT
