Introduction

A new CD player mechanism has been developed to correct a possible grinding noise from the CD player during vehicle deceleration.

Applicable Vehicles

^ 2003 model year Matrix vehicles equipped with the single disc CD player built Vehicles before the VIN shown below.

^ Radio faceplate model numbers affected are AD1800 and AD6808.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
