Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair
REPLACEMENT1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2
3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.3(W/O STEERING PAD SWITCH 4 SPOKE STEERING WHEEL)
4. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER(W/ STEERING PAD SWITCH 4 SPOKE STEERING WHEEL)
5. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER N0.3(3 SPOKE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY)
6. INSPECT PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
7. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
SST 09950-50013 (09951-05010, 09952-05010, 09953-05020, 09954-05021)
9. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH(W/ STEERING PAD SWITCH 4 SPOKE STEERING WHEEL)
10. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. 4 spoke steering wheel assembly:
Remove the 2 screws and steering wheel damper.
b. 4 Spoke steering wheel assembly:
Remove the 3 screws.
c. 4 spoke steering wheel assembly:
Disengage the 2 claws and remove the steering wheel boss cover LWR.
d. 4 spoke steering wheel assembly:
Remove the 2 screws and cruise control main switch assembly.
e. 3 spoke steering wheel assembly:
Remove the 3 screws.
f. 3 spoke steering wheel assembly:
Reverse the steering wheel, remove the 3 screws and cruise control main switch assembly.
g. Disengage the wiring pins other than the cruise control main switch assembly from the connector, and pull them out.
11. CENTER SPIRAL CABLE
12. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
13. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
14. INSPECT HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
15. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
16. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
