Inspection

INSPECTION





1. HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSY





(a) Inspect light control switch continuity.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.





(b) Inspect headlight dimmer switch continuity.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.

HINT: Turn light control switch to the HEAD position when checking "LOW BEAM" and "HI BEAM".





(c) Inspect turn signal switch continuity.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.





(d) w/Fog light: Inspect front fog light switch continuity.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.





2. BACK UP LAMP SWITCH ASSY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.





3. STOP LAMP SWITCH ASSY (W/O CRUISE CONTROL)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.








4. STOP LAMP SWITCH ASSY (W/ CRUISE CONTROL)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.








5. HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.
(b) Inspect illumination operation.
(1) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 8 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 9, then check that the illumination comes on.





6. FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.





7. REAR DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.








8. BACK DOOR LOCK ASSY
(a) Inspect the back door courtesy lamp switch.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.








9. W/MOTOR BACK DOOR LOCK ASSY
(a) Inspect the back door courtesy lamp switch.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.








10. BACK WINDOW LOCK ASSY
(a) Inspect the glass hatch courtesy switch.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.









11. MAP LAMP ASSY (W/ SLIDING ROOF)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.
(b) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6, then check that the illumination comes on when switch operation is ON position.








12. MAP LAMP ASSY (W/O SLIDING ROOF)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.
(b) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 3, then check that the illumination comes on when switch operation is ON position.








13. MAP LAMP ASSY (ELECTRO CHROMIC MIRROR INNER MIRROR)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.
(b) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6, then check that the illumination comes on when switch operation is ON position.





14. ROOM LAMP ASSY NO.1
(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the illumination comes on.





14. ROOM LAMP ASSY NO.2
(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the illumination comes on.








15. HEADLAMP RELAY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.








16. FOG LAMP RELAY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.








17. TAILLAMP RELAY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.








18. HEADLAMP DIMMER RELAY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table provided.








19. LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT
(a) Connect the connector to the rheostat and inspect the wire harness side connector from the back side as shown in the table provided.
(b) Inspect illumination operation.
(1) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 7, then check that the illumination comes on.
