MULTI DISPLAY

REPLACEMENT

HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. TABLE OF BOLT, SCREW AND NUT
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.
3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2
4. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.3
5. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

SST 09950-50013 (09951-05010, 09952-05010, 09953-05020, 09954-05021)

7. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER
8. REMOVE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY W/SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH NO.1
10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH NO.2
11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE
12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
14. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
15. REMOVE ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY




16. REMOVE MULTI DISPLAY
a. Disengage the 9 claws and remove the backcover.




b. Remove the 4 screws and multi display.

17. CENTER SPIRAL CABLE
18. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
19. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
20. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
21. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTE: When disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following system(s) after the terminal is reconnected.

Initialize Front Power Seat Control System
a. The power seat ECU must be initialized under any of the following conditions.
- The battery is disconnected.
- The D/C CUT fuse is replaced.
- The power seat switch (power seat ECU) is replaced.
- The power seat assembly is removed from the vehicle.

b. Initialize the power seat ECU as follows.
1. Using the seat switches, fully slide the seat forward, fully recline the seatback forward, and fully raise the seat cushion and headrest.
2. Using the seat switches, fully slide the seat rearward, fully recline the seatback rearward, and fully lower the seat cushion and headrest.
