Title:
INITIALIZATION OF POWER WINDOW
Models:

January 11, 2005
TSB REVISION NOTICE:
^ May 17, 2005: The Initialization Procedure has been separated into two procedures:
Driver's Door Power Window Switch and Passenger's Door Power Window Switch. Previous versions of this TSB should be discarded.
Introduction
As a result of the removal of the Short Pin, the "one-touch open and close" and "jam protection" functions of the driver's door power window and front passenger's door power window will be inoperative. This is due to a loss of power to the respective door window position memory stored in the microcomputers for each door power window switch.
Initialize the driver's door power window and the front passenger's door power window after installing the Short Pin in its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) at the dealership.
NOTE:
Anytime the battery terminal has been disconnected, please initialize the driver's door power window and front passenger's door power window after reconnecting the battery terminal.
Applicable Vehicles
2005 model year Avalon vehicles.
