DTC B1796 SLEEP OPERATION FAILURE OF OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detecting Condition:

During sleep mode, the occupant classification ECU reads the condition of each sensor when the ignition switch is off. In this mode, if the occupant classification ECU detects an internal malfunction, DTC B1796 is output.

HINT:
- When DTC B1650/32 is detected as a result of troubleshooting for the supplemental restraint system, perform troubleshooting for the DTC B1796 of the passenger occupant classification system.
- Use the hand-held tester to check the DTC of the occupant classification ECU, otherwise the DTC cannot be read.
