License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair

LICENSE PLATE LAMP ASSEMBLY

OVERHAUL

HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE




2. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LAMP ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector and grommet.




b. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the 2 license plate lamp assemblies.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




3. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LAMP LENS
a. Remove the 2 license plate lamp lenses as shown in the illustration.

4. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LAMP LENS
5. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LAMP BULB
a. Remove the 2 license plate lamp bulbs.

6. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LAMP SOCKET AND WIRE
