NETWORK GATEWAY ECU

REPLACEMENT

HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. TABLE OF BOLT, SCREW AND NUT
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY W/FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

HINT: Refer to the procedures up to the removal of the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly w/ front passenger airbag assembly.




4. REMOVE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Disengage the 2 claw and remove the ECU aggregation cover No.1.




c. Remove the network gateway ECU assembly as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY W/FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
6. CENTER SPIRAL CABLE
7. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
11. INSPECT HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
12. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
