OVERHAUL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY




3. REMOVE LH HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 3 bolts.
b. Pull the LH headlight assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the LH headlight assembly.




4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT BRACKET LH
a. Disengage the 2 claws and the headlight bracket LH.




5. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB
a. Turn the socket plug assembly and the front turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove as a unit.




6. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB
a. Turn the socket plug assembly and the front clearance light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove as a unit.




7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT NO.1 BULB (W/O DISCHARGE HEAD LIGHT)
a. Turn headlight bulb No.1 in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.




8. REMOVE DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB (W/ DISCHARGE HEAD LIGHT)
a. Turn headlight back cover No.1 in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.




b. Turn the discharge headlight bulb socket in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the locking cap.




c. Release the set spring lock as shown in the illustration and remove the discharge headlight bulb.




9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT NO.2 BULB (W/O DISCHARGE HEAD LIGHT)
a. Turn headlight bulb No.2 in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.




10. HEADLIGHT NO.2 BULB (W/ DISCHARGE HEAD LIGHT)
a. Turn headlight back cover No.1 in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.




b. Turn headlight No.2 bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.




11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY (W/DISCHARGE HEAD LIGHT)
a. Remove the 4 screws and headlight cover No.1.




b. Remove the 2 screws.
c. Disengage the claw, disconnect the connector and remove the headlight leveling ECU assembly.




12. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH (W/DISCHARGE HEAD LIGHT)
a. Turn the headlight leveling motor to align the recessed parts with the headlight unit LH.




13. REMOVE HEADLIGHT SOCKET & WIRE (W/DISCHARGE HEAD LIGHT)
a. Remove the headlight socket & wire.

14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY
15. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
16. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIM ADJUSTMENT
17. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a tester)
18. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a screen)
19. HEADLIGHT AIMING INSPECTION
20. HEADLIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT
21. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIM ADJUSTMENT
22. PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIMING
23. FOG LIGHT AIMING INSPECTION
24. FOG LIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT
