Power Seat Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o SEAT MEMORY SWITCH)
a. Inspect the front driver side power seat switch.
1. Measure the resistance between the terminals when each switch is operated.













Standard:

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.




b. Inspect the front passenger side power seat switch.
1. Measure the resistance between the terminals when each switch is operated.







Standard:

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.







2. INSPECT SEAT MEMORY SWITCH
a. Measure the resistance between the terminals when each switch is operated.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.







3. INSPECT LUMBAR FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (DRIVER SEAT POSITION)
a. Inspect the lumbar support switch.
1. Measure the resistance between the terminals when each switch is operated.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.







4. INSPECT POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SEAT POSITION)
a. Inspect the leg cushion adjuster switch.
1. Measure the resistance between the terminals when each switch is operated.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
