Introduction
For vehicles that exhibit Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1821 and/or B1826 a new service part has been made available for 2004 - 2008 model year Solara vehicles. Please refer to the following enhanced Repair Manual instructions for the proper installation procedure of the new service part.

Applicable Warranty*
This repair is covered under the Toyota Restraint Systems Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customers specific complaint.
