TERMINALS OF ECU

1. TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the R14 connector from the television camera assembly.





(b) Measure the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the R14 connector to the television camera assembly.
(d) Measure the waveform between each terminal of the connector.





HINT: A waterproof connector is used for the television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the accessory meter assembly with the connector connected.
If the result is not as specified, the camera may have a malfunction.





(e) Reference (Oscilloscope waveform):
HINT: A waterproof connector is used for the television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the accessory meter assembly with the connector connected.
(1) Waveform 1 (under normal conditions)





HINT: The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the television camera assembly.
(2) Waveform 2 (camera lens is covered, blacking out the screen)

2. ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY (MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY)
(a) Disconnect the F1 connector from the accessory meter assembly.





(b) Measure the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the F1 connector to the accessory meter assembly.
(d) Measure the waveform between each terminal of the connector.





(e) Reference (Oscilloscope waveform):




(1) Waveform 1 (under normal conditions)





HINT: The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the television camera assembly.
(2) Waveform 2 (camera lens is covered, blacking out the screen)
