Radiator Grille - Removal

Radiator Grille Removing

Condition

Upper grille retaining tabs fit very tightly into sheet metal and could be broken during grille removal.

Service

Follow this procedure when removing radiator grille.

- Prop open hood

- Remove three grille retaining screws from top of grille





- Carefully insert flat blade screwdriver between grille trim and bumper cover (below each headlight) and pry up retaining tab.

- Gently pull bottom of grille up and forward to release from sheet metal





- Press down retaining tabs (4) with flat blade screwdriver and pull grille forward to release from sheet metal.

CAUTION

Only push retaining tab down far enough to release grille from sheet metal. If tab is pressed down too far it could break and radiator grille will have to be replaced.
