Production

A new anti-locking brake system has been introduced in production, starting in February, 1995.

Service

This technical bulletin describes repair work on the Teves 20 GI systems.

Note:
Teves 20 GI ABS and ABS/EDL on board diagnostic troubleshooting is covered in the new Repair Manual booklet, ABS & ABS/EDL On Board Diagnostic (W42 011 294 112A), dated 08.95.

For proper repairs the sealing plug set, Part No. 1H0698311A, is required. Please order this set. It can always be reused, and should be treated as a special tool and stored in clean condition.
