Installing transparent film protection

Note:
The film must be applied at a temperature between 15°-30°C (60°-90°F).

- Clean and dry door handle depression.

- Prepare a mixture of 25% isopropyl alcohol and 75% water.

Note:
DO NOT use soap or detergents.

- Spray depression with alcohol/water solution.

- Carefully remove film from waxed paper backing (DO NOT touch adhesive area of film).

- Wet adhesive area on film with alcohol/water solution (this prevents film from sticking to itself).

- Using a soft plastic guide, set film in place, then remove excess alcohol/water mixture.

Film must be in proper position to avoid air bubbles and/or wrinkles.

- Dry area with a clean soft cloth.

Removing transparent film protection

- Using a heat gun, heat corner of film.

- Starting from this corner, pull film slowly at an angle less than 9O°, while continuously applying heat to film area being removed.

Note:
It is very important to pull the film slowly, in order to make film removal easier and to avoid paint damage.

Clean any adhesive residues after film removal using 3M Citrus Based Cleaner Solvent.
