Condition
Intermittent noise (rattling) from transmission with engine at idle, transmission in neutral and clutch pedal not pressed.

The following conditions might also be required to introduce this particular noise:

^ Steering wheel fully turned to right or left stop

^ A/C, or headlights (on high beam), or rear defroster ON

Note:
Noise goes away when engine RPM's are raised.

Service
If a vehicle exhibits this condition:

- Install new clutch disc
Part No: 028 141 035C.
