Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Program - US Dealers Only

Effective January 1, 2000, the following changes will be in effect for the Volkswagen Certified PreOwned Vehicle Program covering Certified Pre-owned Volkswagen vehicles that are delivered on or after January 1, 2000:

The warranty term increases to 2 years or 24,000 miles (whichever occurs first) from the previous 12 months or 12,000 miles. The warranty will begin on the used vehicle sale date or at the expiration of the new vehicle warranty, whichever is later.

^ Customer deductible is reduced from $25 to $0.

^ Dealer charge increases to $299 previously $200). XU claims in the system will be charged at the present $200 if the vehicle was delivered in 1999, and at $299 if delivered in 2000.

^ Roadside Assistance coverage increases to 24 months, unlimited mileage previously 12 months).

^ Vehicles sold prior to January 1, 2000 will receive the previous Volkswagen Assured coverage 5, as stated in the 2000 Warranty Policies and Procedures Manual, Article 5.

^ Be certain to provide the customer with the appropriate warranty material depending on delivery date.
