Test procedure
- Connect V.A.G1551 Scan Tool (ST) (VAG1552), then turn on ignition and select Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) -J220- by pressing buttons -0- an -1- to insert "Engine Electronics" address word 01. [1][2][3]Connecting VAG 1551 Scan Tool

- Press buttons -1- and -5- to select "Readiness code" function and press -Q- button to confirm input.

Must appear on display when all diagnostic functions have been successfully completed.

- Turn off ignition.
