Section B - Control Arm

Replace Only If Seam Welds Are Not Correct





<= Remove bolts -1- and disconnect ball joint from control arm

<= Remove bolt -2- and remove control arm from the sub frame

<= Install new control arm 1J0 407 151 B into sub frame and secure with new bolt -2- (N 102 622 01) and new nut (N 015 0814) and tighten to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.) + turn an additional 90°

<= Secure ball joint to control arm using 3 new bolts -1- (N 101 277 06), reuse nut plate and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) + turn an additional 90°
