4 Speed 01N Transmission

ATF, Replacing

- Placing container under transmission.




- Remove ATF check plug in oil pan (arrow 1).




- Remove overflow tube (2) through level hole.
- Drain ATF.
- Install overflow tube.
- Screw level plug in hand-tight.




- Pry out plug securing cap (arrow) with a screwdriver. The cap locking device will be destroyed, therefore, replace cap.
- Pull plug out of the fill pipe.
- Start engine and shift through all gears with vehicle stationary.
- Check and top up ATF level. ATF Level, Checking and Topping Up
