Coolant pump, removing and installing

^ VAG 1331 Torque wrench (5...50 Nm)





^ Drip tray VAG 1306

Removing
^ Remove ribbed belt.
^ Drain coolant.
^ Unscrew coolant pump securing bolts and remove coolant pump.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse sequence. When installing note the following:
^ Moisten new O-ring with coolant.
^ Install coolant pump.
^ Tighten securing bolts.
Tightening torque: 20 Nm
^ Install ribbed belt.
^ Fill system with coolant.
